Here is why we absolutely loved the preview of 'The Ba***ds Of Bollywood'. Read on...
- Plot : A lively journey following a determined newcomer as they make their way through the dazzling but complicated realm of Bollywood, filled with witty self-awareness, surprise starry cameos, and over-the-top personalities—offering a playful, satirical spin on Indian filmmaking.
2. Lakshya in the lead : We keep talking about how insiders get an easy shortcut and the biggest opportunities through nepotism, sidelining the calibre of outsiders. Here is an actor, at the centrestage, who just doesn't perform well and has the calibre, but is also earnest and has the star-actor quality intact, leading from the front.
3. The Return Of Raghav Juyal : An actor so fine, we want to see more of him in as many shades he can deliver, And the boy can deliver and how! He returns in yet another mad capper role and with his partner-in-crime, Lakshya, with whom he has already delivered a successful outing like 'Kill'. Though this time, it is a different and friendlier universe which is cheeky and Raghav fits like a glove in it.
4. The Brilliant Cast : With credible and reliable actors like Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Sahher Banbba, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi and Gautami Kapoor in the mix, the show just gives us an assurance that the casting is done keeping credibility in mind. Not to forget, interesting cameos by Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and many more is adding to our excitement.
5. The Rise Of Aryan Khan : The voice might echo shades of Shah Rukh Khan, but the vibe? Purely Aryan. With this power-packed first look, debutant director Aryan Khan makes a dramatic entry—bringing a bold new vision and a fresh cinematic flair that promises to shake up the scene, Bollywood-style. He comes from a rich lineage, where his parents, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have both proved themselves as trailblazers and we expect no less from Aryan.
The first look set the tone for a show that’s equal parts ambition, humour, drama, and heart, all wrapped in Aryan Khan’s fresh directorial vision.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood, streaming from 18th September only on Netflix!
